Active & Passive Yoni Egg Practices

What are Active Yoni Egg Practices?

When using your yoni egg you can choose to do an active or passive practice. An active practice involves inserting the egg and doing a dedicated "Kegel" pelvic floor practice, such as what's included inside this yoni egg course. An active practice can range from 5 minutes to 30 minutes (no longer to avoid fatiguing your pelvic floor). A Kegel practice requires you to contract AND relax the pelvic floor muscles. The relaxation is just as important as contraction.

What are Passive Yoni Egg Practices?

A passive practice involves inserting the yoni egg and going about your day with the egg inside you. The simple act of having a weight in the vagina can tone the pelvic floor muscles, but be sure not to wear for longer than 6 + hours as this can fatigue the pelvic floor. Wearing the egg when you're doing housework, doing a yoga practice, going for a walk or even sitting and watching Netflix. Having the yoni egg inside creates a resistance for the vagina to engage around, which increases muscle tone, blood flow and natural lubrication.
